hot DAMN that took a while. Also: I am getting to parts of the game where there are a lot of fate-locked story continuations. Are these generally worth the money? Most of the previous fate options were convenience things so I thought "why bother".
Flute Street: Yes. This is the best storyline ever. Others: I haven't tried that many actually I spent a lot of fate on Seeking Mr Eaten's Name but that is because I am stupid btw, the cap on abilities has been raised to 130. I'm busy raising all my stats to 130 now.
Okay, I have decided I will buy every fate story in existence and post whether or not they are cool a start
!!!!!!! I have bought Flute Street and... whatever the ones needed for the Seeking Mr Eaten to get the Starveling Cats back more quickly. Flute Street was great value.
I spent A DAY AT THE RACES for 3 fate. You can talk to people who have the same hat as you, but the cool bit is obviously the racing: I was super overleveled and won the maximum prize: You can race as many times as you like, but you get like 50 pence per action so I went home after winning the megatrophy. OFFICIAL RATING: mildly amusing. To: Aunt ____ Re: business idea okay aunt sounds good. wat u need? P.S. it took me like 15 fate to send this letter so this better be good
I've reached what I think is the end of the Uncovering Secrets Framed in Gold storyline, which cost 19 fate and has been super awesome. I'd definitely reccommend it. what should I do guys?
I played through Long Lost Daughter, Rubbery Murder and Soul Trade stories. Soul trade was alright and has interesting effects on other cards but the other two are lame, especially Rubbery Murder which is super lame. Long Lost Daughter is also probably the only story I've seen that feels like it could really have used some gender-restricted options. Meanwhile aunt story has been amusing thus far. this might be the end: what should I do?
I am currently doing rubbery and it is good. No secrets but funny. Worth 5 fate I'd say. Not sure about the other one. happy ending wat
They've changed the action cap to 10,000 actions per day for two days. You still have to wait for your candle to recharge, though, so you actually get about 200 actions per day with perfect play. Still a pretty good deal, though!
The Disgruntled Naval officer doesn't want any tea, and doesn't even sit down. He takes a package from inside his overcoat. It's wrapped in wool to keep it quiet. Half of the Screaming Map regards you with an ocular compass rose. Free from its muffler, it moans a bit for practice. Then the map gets going with a long whimpering wail. The Disgruntled Naval Officer is already gone. You're one step closer to Polythreme.
Kadir's amazing guide to Polythreme 1. Play the gold, non-fate, non-zailing storylet to start 2. Don't play any cards. Try to draw The Temple, The Masked Man and At the Market as they may be useful later. 3. Use the bribery storylet to advance. Grind the items you need from the bottom two options of the bottom storylet 4. Stop bribing once it gets super super expensive 5a. If you're going for a monoquality challenge, use the storylets to trade the quality you aren't using for the one you are. If you have any time and otherquality left over, use cards to sell it. 5b. If you're going for a multiquality challenge, pass the time by playing The Masked Man. Other cards may dent your qualities on failure. 6. Repeat 1-5 many many times.
OK so I joined Dilmun Club. I didn't know the method of joining would affect things. I joined through Bishop. If anyone joins through Lordship or the other thing? I forgot what the other thing is.
I stupidly sent all three of my starveling cats to my alt account which I have now forgotten the password to. Does anyone have some spares lying around? I can give moneys if you want.
This game is pretty fun. The 10min refresh is interesting, but I'm not sure I like it more than the KoL adventure system. Also I don't know why my character finds writing about mushrooms such a chore. I think mushrooms are pretty cool!
What does "Something good will happen soon..." mean? If I keep doing that storylet/action/whatever I'll get something extra, or a new storylet/whatever will open soon nearby?
It means a time-released thing. After 2-3 or days you get a message when you log on and then you can make further progress
So my first time having a lens of black glass. Get the guaranteed 150+ echoes worth of stuff, or risk it all? ... I was fortunate!
If anyone here is doing Heart's Desire, they just added new content. back to polythreme for the third time (sigh).
From Facebook: As promised, Delicious Friends, the gates of the Iron Republic stand open to those with the means and the stomach to explore! But season your delight, for there is more to come. We have also added new chapters to all four Ambitions. To reach the Iron Republic, you will require a ship and Safe Conduct. The latter may be obtained from the Numismatrix. You may wish to speak to your local Gossip at your lodgings. BE WARNED. The Iron Republic is not like other places. The usual laws do not apply there. This includes the laws of nature and reality. Those pursuing their Nemesis must also brave the Republic, but the Bazaar would advise you to procure a certain key at Hunter's Keep first. In truth, all those pursuing Ambitions should expect to travel, whether it be to Polythreme, a lost coast full of glim and beetles, or a mysterious convent. We wish you good fortune, for the Unterzee is a treacherous place...
omg lol I have one, phew. Anything else I need? Wait, you also need 3x Mark to get the hall pass, did you do that already?
