I am well aware of openings being Mu dependent, hence why I say favorite, not best. That being said, how do you like to start your games of Yomi? For me, throwing someone always goes well. At worst, I lose a throw, at best I eat their only block and land a Kd.
You gotta no-card it. Yomi mindgames, yo. (But really, depends who I'm against, and what my hand is. Fast attacks and dodges are the least risky)
I think for a while I blocked turn 1 every game as grave (maybe like a month). Eventually people started just throwing me turn 1 so I have stopped
As soon as everyone sees that Block is winning this poll, everyone will start playing Throw. But not me, I'll play Attack. Until someone reads this post, that is. Then I will play Throw again.
Lol, read this immediately after voting throw. Good thing I'm cool and main Midori to even win in dzebra Yomi layer two.
The throw voters are all winning! Let's see if they can hang on to their edge. Someone post a favorite 2nd turn play poll
I think I block 60% throw 30% and attack 10% on turn1 as most "normal" characters (e.g., not Setsuki) have fun exploiting me guys
That's me. As Geiger and Val I have a set order of what I will play depending on my hand. This card takes priority, then this card, then this card.
Really, if you're not playing turn 1 Joker every game as Geiger, you should just stop playing the character.
Jaina's Jack first turn is my favorite because you'll be inflicting quite a bit of chip damage on blocks, one more damage on throws, and might even win a combat vs. a slow regular attack.
Targie, I remember yesterday playing against your Jaina, and I said to Volcanya, "Targie doesn't have slow J, only fast." I guess I was wrong about you.
I think I only used J in combos that game. Either that or I tried to play slow J and deluks got mad at me
No card is the only way to guarantee you enter the second turn with more cards than the first! Thus it is legitimate move I think.
This is not in game yet. And may never be! But if you want to play like that Gwen innate means at least +1 at turn 2 if no card
You guys joke, but there was a point in testing when WaterD was actually doing this. Nocard was made even worse as a response.
What was it initially? I mean right now it's just "you get hit if they attack or throw" right? I'm trying to imagine what it would be other than that.
Actually, no-card loses to all five other options. It allows attacks and throws to hit, blocks to return and draw, dodges to counter, and Gold Burst to search for aces.
First turn joker is my favorite turn 1 play. It's not my most COMMON turn 1 play, but it's the one I enjoy the most.
